Hungarian GP 2012 Race

Hungarian GP 2012 Race

Well the 2012 Hungarian Grand Prix this season, is another great race (which also caused by great performance of Kimi :D) which provide lot of overtaking and unexpected finish. Kimi meanwhile, had a great race especially after his second stint. From fifth before the second round of pit stop move up to second place by overtaking his teammate Grosjean and they had to touched each other so Romain has to take the dirt side of the track (I’m sorry to hear that). And after that, Kimi chase for victory from Hamilton but never get too close to make an attempt, thanks to Mercedes powered Mclaren. Kimi hoped then rested on the McLaren running into rear-tyre degradation problems. They never came, and a delighted Hamilton was able to speed home to the 19th victory of his career just when he needed it most.

Now, how’s Kimi’s chances for the world championship? the points situation is Ferrari’s Alonso on 164, Red Bull’s Webber on 124, team mate Vettel on 122, Hamilton on 117 and Kimi on 116 with nine races to go. So mathematically Kimi still have a good chance to be a serious contender this season.
In the constructors’ stakes, Red Bull have 246 as McLaren move back into second with 193. Just to rub salt in Ferrari’s wound, Lotus now have 192 to the Scuderia’s 189. Mercedes are fading with 106 ahead of Sauber’s 80, Williams’s 53 and Force India’s 46. So, sure we expected to see a very close battle at the end of the season! Stay tuned and Go Formula 2012 season!
